At Metamorphosa, maternity photography is my mission — not just a service, but a way to celebrate the transformation you’re experiencing. I’m Emma Domuța, photographer and founder of Metamorphosa, and my experience in portrait, family and maternity photography helps me create maternity sessions that highlight the emotion, grace and authenticity of every expectant mother. My philosophy is rooted in the idea of "metamorphosis": every life stage changes how we see and feel ourselves, and photography has the power to freeze those moments. I don’t believe in "people who are not photogenic" — I believe in the right angle, the right light, and the warm connection I build with each client. During my sessions I aim to create a relaxed, intimate and safe atmosphere so every pregnant woman feels beautiful and confident. The Metamorphosa style blends portrait elegance with the naturalness of spontaneous moments. I work in the studio — a space where I can control light and atmosphere for fine-art results — as well as outdoors or at home if you prefer a personal setting. The choice of location depends on your story: some images ask for simple, luminous backgrounds, others are born from the contrasts and textures of nature. My process is attentive and friendly: before the session we discuss ideas, colors and outfits; on shoot day I guide you patiently, suggest poses that flatter you and focus on the details — hands, silhouette lines, the gaze. The result is more than a set of photographs: it’s an album of memories you will cherish. I also enjoy involving partners or children in family-style maternity shots when it makes sense, to capture the real connection surrounding this stage.
